The aim of the meeting was to discuss a wide range of contemporary issues in chronobiology and start to address their role(s) in human health and disease. The Symposium was sponsored in part by the Australasian Chronobiology Society, and was a Satellite Meeting of the IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience meeting (Melbourne, Australia July 12-17 2007).
